Breathless (1983)

Jesse (Richard Gere) is a two-bit car thief who's running from the law after murdering a cop in this sexy remake of the 1961 French thriller. As Jesse attempts to flee the country and start a new life, he meets a stunning French college girl (Valerie Kaprisky) in Las Vegas and convinces her to join him in his dash for the Mexican border. Jesse thinks he's finally found the good life, but he quickly realizes he can't escape the past.
